Recording Sessions
Recording sessions can be costly, but if you employ the finest musicians, you’ll realise you can save a lot of time, effort, and money, with fewer takes required.
String Musicians Australia is registered with the Australian Government as trusted award-winning musicians and recording artists. We’ve saved many clients thousands of dollars in recording session fees.
You won’t need to worry about paying extra for rehearsals leading up to the session, or for longer hours in the recording studio.
Just ensure you send us the charts or sheet music as soon as possible. We’ll have a look at the music before the recording session.
We’re also excellent sight-readers, so don’t worry if you can’t present the music to us in advance.
String Quartet Recording
Sessions for Student Composers
If you’re a student-composer, we can offer valuable, constructive feedback. We love supporting the music industry and will try to help in every way possible.
Since it’s a recording session & the music has already been composed, we’ll never criticise the music. We’ll provide feedback on how the music can be better presented; the notations in the parts. Mistakes are common in this regard. Of course, there’d be no extra charge for this.
WHY CHOOSE OUR STRING BAND FOR RECORDING SESSIONS?
Hiring musicians or string quartets for recording sessions can be costly if you have to re-record or hire the studio, engineer, and musicians for longer. This would usually be the case if the musicians are not up to scratch. This is a grave mistake and should be avoided at all costs.
Even if we’re a little more expensive than other booking agencies, it’ll save you time and money in the long run. We always employ the best musicians. This means that we’ll be in tune, musical, and very professional when you hire our string quartet for recording sessions.
It’s said that to reach mastery, one must dedicate 10,000 hours to a particular field. All our musicians have dedicated well over 10,000 hours to music performance. Each of us has performed for well over 100 recording sessions, including for TV shows, radio broadcasts, feature films, and advertisements.
We’ve also won major national and international music competitions, and we perform with all of Australia’s leading symphony & chamber orchestras.
For more of an insight into our musicians, please listen to over 200 of our recordings and watch our videos.
If you require other instrumentalists or singers, let us know. We know all the leading musicians in Australia. From soloists and duos to a string quartet for recording sessions with vocalists, pianists, and more, String Musicians Australia can help you.
Hire a string quartet for recording sessions in all of Australia’s major cities, including Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth, Newcastle and Coffs Harbour.
For your convenience, we’ve listed all our prices on our website.
